First, I want to offer you a scripture, Romans 12:2 "Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think."
I have a saying, "Your thoughts become your words. Your words become your actions. Your actions become your reality." Maybe it's not my saying, but it's something that I say and shares the sentiment of Romans 12:2. You can change your life by changing your thoughts. That brings me to the topic of today's blog post. Where am I writing from you ask, my JOB, which I hope to only have for a week longer. What I told you last time, the best thing a job can do for me is what? OKAY!

Today, I want to share a challenge that my twin best friends and I are embarking on together. We saw it on TikTok and immediately hopped on the idea. Titled The Winter Arc, the challenge required each of us to pick three pillars where we wanted to create different habits. We then had to identify three habits that fall under each pillar, that we would complete and track weekly. Each completed habit would be worth 1 point. The person with the most points at the end of the 20 weeks would win a prize. We decided on an all-expenses-paid cruise trip. Think back to my saying, if your thoughts become your actions to ultimately become your reality, you can change your reality by changing your actions, too.
Last year or so I listened to Atomic Habits by James Clear, an expert on behavior change. He listed a few takeaways to creating sustainable and long-lasting behavior change: make it obvious, make it attractive, make it easy, and make it satisfying. I plan to use these takeaways in this Winter Arc Challenge. I'm ready to live as the Mommy Mogul I think of myself as. My kids already think I'm rich, I spent $300 in Target on a weekday! No groceries! Two Stanley cups! But seriously, I've been using my natal chart more to help me identify my niche and how to best approach it. I like to think of astrology and Human Design as tools to help me create my ideal human experience. I will share the Canva template at the end of this blog so that you can create your own Winter Arc Challenge. Here are my 3 pillars, or focus areas, for the next 20 weeks:
- Finances
I have to become a better steward of my finances, especially in this upcoming season of abundance. Taking this leap of faith into entrepreneurship requires my financial discipline and the overall organization of my money. I am the CFO of our family, and let's just say I've been slacking at my job. Focusing on my finances in this challenge looks like limiting my weekly spending and updating our budget every week.
- Personal Brand
Part of my leap into entrepreneurship is leaning more into my authentic self. Your authenticity is your superpower, it's what distinguishes you from the masses. There is no oversaturation when you are in your own lane. I am my brand, and my entire business model is surrounding me being the woman I want to be. Focusing on my personal brand looks like posting a weekly blog post, I mean this is Life With Lexis Kai am I right! It also looks like growing my social capital through building my online community on social media and in-person networking at various engagement events! - Feminine Energy
My final pillar changed from Education to Feminine Energy. I had to come to terms with myself that I was out of my season as a traditional student and now have chosen to enroll in Living Life Lavish University (inquire about enrollment). This semester requires me to be more in my receptive energy. If you don't learn anything else from me, remember that money is feminine energy, it is receptive. Focusing on my feminine energy looks like practicing mindfulness and making space for creating. I'm in tune with this energy right now as I'm writing this post. Through an emphasis on connecting to the feminine, I am experimenting with my magnetism and overall manifestation prowess.
