Howdy family,
This past weekend was a full moon in Virgo, which is my sun sign (RIP to Sorry I'm a Virgo Podcast. Or maybe not? Stay tuned) This past full moon is telling us to release what is no longer serving us, to reorganize and reconsider our plans (heavy 6 of Swords energy) and to be willing to try new things.
As y'all know, I've been wanting to quit my job for the last year or so. I'm actually just getting back to work from a two-week leave as an alternative to resigning (ask me about it). During this time, I've been subconsciously preparing for the full moon, by cleaning my house, doing laundry, and redecorating my room. I've also been intentional about the time I spend with myself, while trying to dig deeper into myself and my desires to help me figure out what is my next move in my career, can you say #transitioningteacher.
This brings me to today's post. In transparency, I've been trying to finish writing this for a few days. One day while editing this post, I pulled the Magician card in my daily tarot reading (ask me to do a reading for you). This major arcana card reminds us that you already have everything you need, that the resources and answers you're seeking can be found from within. I want to practice a manifestation technique called scripting. Scripting is as straightforward as it sounds, you just write out in detail what it is you want. I've done this several times but on paper and not in long form, just bullet points, in my notebook I call my book of life (mentioned in previous blog entries). As a manifesting generator and more specifically with inner vision as my cognition (get your Human Design chart here and ask me to interpret it for you), it's important that I am able to identify what it is I want clearly in my mind's eye. Inner vision is all about visualization, so I'm going to practice here with you. I am also a firm believer in the idea that if you can see something in your mind's eye, you can achieve it. Somewhere in the Bible, the phrase goes "man without vision shall perish." And yes, I'm probably paraphrasing, but the sentiment still stands!
So here goes my perfect life (no timeline attached - letting God do his thang with it!):
I woke up with my body's natural rhythm. No alarm needed, I just allowed myself to naturally rise. I opened the curtains and the blinds and started the day with a light yoga flow. After finishing my morning yoga, I went down the hall into the girls' room. They have separate rooms, but they are connected by their shared bathroom. I then go into the nursery, but baby is already wide awake and ready for the day. I woke each of the girls up with a hug and kiss, then went downstairs to start breakfast and pack lunches. My husband was already ahead of me and had their lunch boxes set out and water in the kettle for brewing tea. We'll have tea together as we wait for the girls to finish getting dressed and I nurse baby. We work great together as a team, I pack the lunches, he makes the eggs. Breakfast this morning will be light, fresh fruit with turkey salami and egg sandwiches on croissant rolls. I'll have a half of an avocado on mine for the extra protein since I'm still nursing.
After breakfast, I drop my oldest off at school, then my middle and youngest off to Montessori school. Baby will only spend half the day as I do some morning meetings and the weekly grocery shopping. My husband will work from home and then maybe schedule some dispatching orders for the rest of the afternoon. He'll pick the girls up from school while I work on dinner later this evening. Today's Monday, so no extra-curriculars for the girls, I'm glad about it because we get to spend some extra time together on the back porch. The weather is nice so we'll probably sit out and with some fresh lemonade.
But before then, I have one meeting with my team on a new service we plan to add to our business. I also have an interview set for a new virtual assistant to help with the accounting and scheduling for our logistics company. I have a few emails to send out as well for the next steps in developing our assistant living facility. While I don't have a traditional "job", my career allows me to follow my passions and have a comfortable income, while still being flexible enough to be there for my children and spend time with my spouse. We're planning our annual family vacation to Ghana this year, and looking forward to spending some time on our compound there. I know our employees have been missing us, but enjoying the peace of not having to tend to our growing family.
God I thank you for this beautfiful life. For my talents and passions being able to sustain my lifestyle. For my beautiful home and amazing family. God thank you for the husband you sent to me and I ask that you bless this union and matrimony to the fullest! I am truly living a lavish life. Amen.
If you made this far, I thank God for you too! I challenge you to practice some scripting for your life. Hey Siri, play Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield. The rest is still unwritten for you. Remember, you are a co-creator of your life, pick the pencil up and write your next chapter.
Until next time,
Cousin Lex
